Email Notification allows you to specify an email address which will receive notification of every single validation failure.

This can be enabled or disabled from CKS: Sandbox - General Settings where you can also specify the Email Address where these emails will be sent to.

Each email will provide the following information:
  • Whether the solution was blocked, or allowed to be activated (depending on whether Validation Enforcement is enabled)
  • The URL of the Site Collection where activation was attempted
  • The Solution ID
  • The filename of the Sandbox Package (WSP)
  • The reason validation failed (such as a blocked file type being detected, or the presence of script tags within one of the output files)
